FAQ
How does Squid Go work?
Squid Go combines targeted cold therapy with sequential compression to deliver deep, effective relief. Each wrap is designed for a specific body area, helping move swelling away while driving cold deep into the tissue. This helps reduce pain and inflammation, improve circulation, and speed up recovery.
For athletes, it’s a powerful recovery tool that not only cools the muscles efficiently but also helps flush out metabolic waste like lactic acid—so you recover faster and perform better.
Note: The shoulder wrap does not include compression due to its proximity to the heart.
How long is each session?
Each session lasts just 15 minutes and is fully automated. The pump signals when the session is complete and shuts off automatically.
How often can I use it?
With a cold gel pack, use once per hour per area to avoid cold-related injury. Without the gel pack (compression only), it can be used as needed. Always place the gel pack over clothing or the included fabric layer to protect your skin.
What makes Squid Go different?
Unlike traditional cold therapy that only cools the surface, Squid Go combines compression and cold to push the treatment deeper into muscles and joints.
Its flexible gel packs reach temperatures as low as -18°C while maintaining comfort, allowing for shorter, more effective 15-minute sessions compared to traditional systems.
How much compression should I use?
It depends on your comfort level. Athletes often prefer higher compression, while lower levels are recommended after surgery or for sensitive injuries. You can easily adjust the level during your session.
When should I not use Squid Go?
Do not use Squid Go if you have certain medical conditions such as blood clots, vascular disease, severe circulation issues, or cold sensitivity disorders. It should also not be used during pregnancy, on damaged skin, near fractures, or by individuals under 18.
If unsure, consult a healthcare professional before use.
What warranty is included?
All Squid Go components are covered by a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.
How long does charging take?
Charge for 8 hours before first use. After that, 4–6 hours is enough. A full charge provides up to 20 sessions—and you can use it while charging.
How long does it take to freeze the gel pack?
Freeze for 12 hours before first use. After each session, 3 hours in the freezer is enough to restore full cooling power.
Does the gel pack stay at -18°C?
No—during use, it transfers cold to your body. It may still be cold enough for another area, but avoid reusing it on the same spot within one hour.
